Cheerful and filled with colorful decor, Sabor de Puebla (Taste of Home) brings genuine and honest Mexican cuisine to Madison’s East side neighborhoods.
Owner Reyna Gonzalez is well-known for her tamales, sold at the Willy Street Co-op and now available in her own restaurant. Hailing from Puebla, Mexico, Reyna knows just what it takes to serve up the perfect tamale and mole.
The menu has tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, sopes, fajitas, and tortas, and meals are made fresh with local, organic produce grown by the owner’s brother right here in Madison.
Several homemade sauces are available in a range of spiciness levels, as well as commercial sauces like Valentina or Tapatio can be splashed onto your favorite meal to add another level of zip.
