Gray’s Tied House is a spacious, rustic, two-story brewpub that is an exemplary modern interpretation of the tied houses of yesteryear.
Gray’s Tied House serves beverages created by the Gray Brewing Company, which was founded in 1856 by Joshua Gray, an Irish immigrant. Since then, Gray’s has continued its tradition of producing the finest handcrafted beers, ales, and sodas in its quaint brewery and bottling facility located south of Madison in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Gray’s craft beers and sodas poured daily at their tied house include:
- Gray’s Oatmeal Stout
- Gray’s Bully Porter
- Gray’s Honey Ale
- Gray’s Wisco Wheat
- Gray’s Rathskeller Amber Ale
- Gray’s Busted Knuckle Irish Ale
- Gray’s Rock Hard Red
- Gray’s Root Beer
- Gray’s Cream Soda
- Gray’s Orange Soda
- Gray’s Orange Cream Soda

They also serve a full menu of tempting foods, including burgers, fish, sandwiches, salads, pasta, and more. Start off with one of their tasty appetizers like deep-fried, beer-battered cheese curds or warm soft pretzel bites. Gluten-free and vegetarian option are available upon request.
Entrees like a ribeye or honey-ale battered cod are just a couple of their excellent dinner options. Gray’s kitchen features a brick pizza oven – all of their pizza crusts are homemade, hand rolled, and baked in the brick oven to bring out the rustic flavor.
Specials include a Friday Night Fish Fry featuring baked or fried walleye or cod dinner, and Saturday is 12 oz prime rib!
